Who Is The Binge-Free Dad?

Yes, Binge-Free Dad is a real person. My name is Patrick Jones – father of 5 amazing children and although most of life I lived a lifestyle of chronic daily binge eating, purging and overeating, I am the now a binge-free dad! You could also be a BINGE-FREE mom, or dad, or a single man or woman! Living the BINGE-FREE LIFESTYLE means CONNECTION. To my self and others without food being in the way. It means I can leave food leftover on my plate and not eat the last bite without obessing or overthinking.  It means I eat like a “normal” person, sometimes I forget breakfast, sometimes I eat carbs at night, sometimes I don’t eat much food, and sometimes I overeat! It means that I have control over my food, and food doesn’t control me.

Living the binge-free lifestyle means that you are no longer afraid to eat carbs because you’re afraid you will gain weight from it. You don’t restrict food,  do fasting for short term fixes, or go on diets to drop weight quick. You are no longer putting “rules” in place that you must eat at certain times or stop eating at specific times! You are no longer obsessing about how you look in the mirror and stop  covering up your body in your clothes. You no longer live to eat every day, but you eat to live, and eat to fuel your body and mind for optimal nutrition and function.  You accept and love your self always. You love your self for the journey you are on and for who you are becoming. You NO LONGER live in the obsession of food, all in the mind, but have complete freedom from the obsession, from the planning of food parties and the complete FREEDOM of any guilt and shame that always came after binge eating, over eating, under-eating or any form of it.

How is My Approach Different?

I am real, I am raw and I am authentic. Yet, I know how to coach you with some tough love. Nobody knows it better than I do. I have hid in the darkest places in my life, all in my mind, living a lonely life full of food pity parties, obessions and all you can possibly think of, all while being married and raising 5 children and working with hundreds of clients getting them real results! I can help you too.

I can help you because I have truly lived in your shoes and very few in this world can say that.

For far too long, we’ve been inundated by negative messages about food, weight and diet. We’ve been told that we’re willpower weaklings or that we need more control. The majority of nutrition experts promote conflicting advice. The result is people are confused about what to eat, and how to have a happy relationship with food and a healthy metabolism. In my professional practice, I combine many of the best strategies from nutrition science and eating psychology. By eliminating all the “shoulds and shouldn’ts”, I focus on what’s right for your body and your personal style. As we work together in this way, eating and health issues become a place of exploration. Instead of seeing such challenges as the enemy, they become opportunities for growth and self-improvement. In my training at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, I’ve learned to help clients reach their highest goals not by strategies that punish, but through strategies that nourish.
